Copper King Elementary School
Glendale, Arizona, USA
At Copper King Elementary School in Glendale, Arizona, staff and faculty sought to keep their students hydrated without harming the environment.
Previously, students had to rely on traditional drinking fountains that had an unpleasant taste, or turn to wasteful bottled water and sugary drinks for hydration. Recognizing the need for a healthier and more sustainable drinking water option, Copper King Elementary School decided to look for a water option that was good for their students and the environment.
In partnership with SOURCE, Copper King Elementary School installed 10 Hydropanels to provide their STEAM Academy students delicious and renewable water to drink. This installation not only brings high-quality hydration to the classroom, but serves as a demonstration of sustainable technology and science at work in the world.
